Ready to move forward? Use this guide to request access, understand licensing terms, and learn what support is included with the Editor Starter commercial package.

How purchasing works

  1. Reach out: Email jayakumarmagesh@gmail.com or use the contact form with your company name, team size, and planned use case.
  2. Share evaluation notes: Include findings from Before you buy — custom features, target launch date, hosting preference, security requirements.
  3. Receive pricing & agreement: We will reply with the tier that fits your organisation (indie, startup, or enterprise), a license agreement, and payment options (Stripe invoice or bank transfer).
  4. Sign & pay: Once paperwork and payment are complete, we provision repository access for your designated GitHub accounts.
  5. Kick-off: You will receive onboarding notes, update cadence expectations, and a support channel invite.

What’s included with a license

  • Private GitHub repository access for the latest Editor Starter source code and documentation.
  • 12 months of updates: bug fixes, minor improvements, and security patches released by the Klippy team.
  • Email/async support for integration questions during the active subscription window (one primary contact per customer).
  • Optional onboarding call (45 minutes) to review architecture, deployment, and customization best practices.
  • Commercial license granting the right to modify, self-host, and ship products built on the Starter (subject to the agreement terms).

Pricing & tiers

Pricing is volume-based and published on klippy.pro/pricing. Typical tiers:

  • Indie: Solo builders or teams of up to 2 — includes source access and community support.
  • Startup: VC-backed or revenue-generating teams up to 20 employees — adds priority support and roadmap previews.
  • Enterprise: Larger organisations or regulated industries — includes procurement assistance, security questionnaires, and custom contract terms.

Not sure which tier applies? Reach out with your headcount, planned user numbers, and whether you need shared ownership (multiple business units, subsidiaries, etc.).

Support expectations

  • Support is provided asynchronously (email or shared channel) during business hours in India (IST). Response SLA is typically <24h.
  • We help triage bugs, guide integrations, and suggest architectural approaches. Feature development and hands-on engineering are scoped separately.
  • Critical security fixes are distributed immediately; functional updates ship on a regular cadence and are announced in release notes.

License essentials

  • Perpetual right-to-use for the purchased version; continued updates require an active subscription.
  • You may customise, rebrand, and ship derivative products, but you may not redistribute the source code as a competing starter.
  • Remotion, stock media providers, AI APIs, and analytics tools have separate licenses and billing — ensure compliance before launch.
  • All deployments must comply with applicable laws (privacy, copyright, data usage) and the acceptable use policies of integrated services.
